Ouida Watznauer, 81, of Big Spring, died Monday, July 14, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Alive in Christ Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring. Ouida was born April 29, 1933 in Lubbock. She loved garage sales and was an avid antique collector. She was well known at the area livestock sale barns because she was the best ticketwriter around for many years. She married C. F. \Ike\ Watznauer May 19, 1990 in Big Spring. She was a member of the Alive in Christ Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Gerald \Jerry\ Moncrief of Canyon Lake; her daughter, Paula Jean Abbott and husband, Toby of Terrell; six grandsons, Jason Moncrief, Jacob Moncrief, Brandon Moncrief, Zachary Moncrief, Caleb Howard, and Nathan Halcom; one brother, Ballard Arant; and two sisters, Betty E. Eudy and Gretchen Gittins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvel and Bernice (Helms) Arant. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
