Oscar Gonzales, JR passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Midland, TX.
Oscar was born November 13, 1974 to Oscar Gonzales, SR and Alma Carrillo in Denver City, TX.
Oscar was incredibly charming, charismatic, giving, and loquacious about his passions, definitely the life of the party and had a smile that would melt your heart and a laugh that pulsed through anyone who was around him.
Oscar attended school in Denver City, TX where he graduated with the class of ’93 and was most certainly loved by all of his peers. He played tuba in the Mighty Mustang Band and loved watching the You Tube videos of them marching at the State Competition in Austin.
After living in various cities over the years, in 2004, he, along with his kids, planted roots in Midland, TX. This is where he began his thriving construction business, Pro Services.
Oscar was an avid sports fan, though his heart belonged to the Pittsburg Steelers and Texas Tech Red Raiders. He was a long time Tech football season ticket holder, and he LOVED big, weekend long tailgate gatherings with friends, family and his kids. He was also an absolute master of the grill.
He is survived by his parents, Oscar Gonzales, SR, wife Imelda Gonzales, and Alma Carrillo, husband Juan Carrillo, His children, Trevour Gonzales, grandson Grayson Gonzales, Tyler Gonzales, Tatum Gonzales and Madison Herb, His sisters Malissa Gonzales and Lydia Juarez, brother in law CJ Juarez, nieces and nephews Alexah Herrera, Roberto Herrera, Rhyan Hernandez, Ethan Gonzales, M’Leah Lucero, Xander Juarez, Cesario Juarez, great niece Mila Herrera, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
