Oscar Frank Fountain, 52, of Big Spring, formerly of Abilene, died on Saturday, October 20, 2001, at his residence. Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Chaplain Dean Thomas, V.A. Medical Center of Big Spring, officiating. He was born on July 31, 1949 in Clovis, New Mexico. He graduated from East High School in Wichita, Kansas. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include one sister, Annie Nuttall of Abilene; two brothers, Charles Fountain of Wichita, Kansas and Jerry Fountain of Abilene; three nieces and one nephew. The family suggests memorials to:The American Cancer Society Memorial Program, % Lucy Bonner, P.O. Box 2121, Big Spring, Texas 79721-2121.
