Opal Louise Jones, 90, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, June 6, 2009, in an Odessa hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Midway Baptist Church in Sand Springs with Rev. Jim Binnix, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Gooseneck Cemetery in Graham, TX on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM.Opal was born on April 10, 1919, in Mingus, Texas to the late Frank and Ada (Owen) Sullivan. She married Woodrow Wilson Jones on July 4, 1937 in Springtown, TX. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1999. The couple moved to Big Spring from Kermit in 1959. She was a homemaker also worked for J.M. Ringerner at the Rainbow bread store for a number of years. Opal was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church.Survivors include two sons, Frank Wilson Jones and wife, Jean of Odessa, and Randall Lee Jones and wife, Linda of Dodd City, six grand children and seven great grand children; and one sister, Mildred Ruth Dukes and husband, Burl of Abliene. In addition to her parents and husband, Opal was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.,
