My sympathy to all you. While I never really knew your mother, she must have been a very special lady. It's hard to say goodbye to a mother but she lived a good life and I'm sure you all have many good memories. My mom passed away in January as did my sister Alice so it's been a tough start to a new year. I guess we are now the "older generation"! It would be fun to see all of you again and if I hadn't made so many trips to NE the last three months, I would have driven up. Safe travels to you all and cherish the good memories.

It was a pleasure to have gotten to know Opal. She sure was a sweet and very friendly person. I and the others would stay at the table while she finish eating, and then we would all talk. She would stay untill sombody would get up to leave.

We were so sorry to learn of your loss. Your mother and father were close neighbors and friends for such a long time. Opals' address changed without our getting a new one so we had not been in touch with her for a couple years or so. Our sympathies are with the family and may God bless each of you.
