Olusegun Sangowale, 34, of Midland passed away tragically after a fatal car accident on Monday, November 24, 2014. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor O.J. Kuye and Pastor Gbamila Omotoye officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Olusegun was born on March 27, 1980 to Mr. and Mrs. David Sangowale in Ibadan, Nigeria. He went to Army children primary school mokola Ibadan, Nigeria, he attended Emmanuel college high school in Ibadan Nigeria .He attended Kwara state polytechnic and Osun state polytechnic Nigeria for his first degree in Business Administration year 2008 also he attended university of Ibadan where he obtained a Diploma in computer Techniques and Application in year 2009. Olusegun Sangowale got married to his beautiful wife in year 2008 and later went to National Youth Services Corp (NYSC) to serve his father's land in Akwa-Ibom state, Nigeria. Olusegun Sangowale love listening to music, dancing, reading, he loved technology and playing soccer. During his life, olusegun Sangowale was a well-known football keeper known as soccer, he was called MEOLA among his soccer friends. He was a member of different football clubs while he was in Nigeria. He played for Wembay football club , Net breakers football club, Nero football club , Accurate football club, Flogin st football club, Dnymous football club ,and first choice goalkeeper of Fidelity bank PLC Ibadan of Nigeria all in Nigeria .He was the football keeper of his school team that participated in Nigeria polytechnic Games (NIPOGA) in 1997 and he was recognized has the best football keeper of the tournament for Kwara state polytechnic in 1988 and Oyo state bankers cup of Nigeria in 2011. Mr. Olusegun Sangowale lived with his family in Baltimore Maryland for two years, moved to Midland Texas in June 2014 and started working with TDCJ (Texas department of criminal justice). Olusegun Sangowale was loving, caring, cool, smart, motivator, trustworthy, mentor and humble. He is survived by his wife, Oluwashola O. Sangowale; two sons, Collins O. and Martins O. Sangowale all of Midland; parents, Mr & Mrs. David Sangowale; brothers, Oluremi and Olumide Sangowale; and his sisters, Adeola, Abosede, Modupe and Funmilola Sangowale, all of Nigeria. Words fail us and it’s still difficult for us to come to term with fact that you won’t be there every day. Though you are gone, your spirit and love will live with us forever in our hearts. Every morning Collins and Martins still asked of you and run to the door whenever there is a knock on the door shouting DADDY! DADDY! Your wife miss you a lot.
