Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 5, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland.Jackie was born on August 15, 1936 to John and Hazel Ripley in Seymour, TX.She is survived by her husband, Charles Pittillo of Ft. Stockton; her children, Darrell of Dallas, TX, Charles and wife Cindy of Farmington, NM, John and wife Dennise of Sterling City, Bryan of Midland and Gina and husband Jaime of Midland.Jackie has 8 grandchildren Ashley and Jeremy from Charles and Cindy, Coleman and Lauren from John and Dennise, and Bryna, Monica, Trevor and Heather from Gina and Jaime.Jackie has 2 great grandchildren Kaiden and Harper from Bryna and husband Jesus.Olivia was second born to a grand and blessed amount of brothers and sisters. Betty, Leroy, Connie, Johnny, Patty, Sandra, Joyce, Roger, Cathy, and Reba. And in-laws Peggy, James, Jerry and Liz.Olivia Jacquelyn (Jackie) was a brilliant, effervescent, loyal and loving wife. She dedicated her heart and soul to raising 5 children with her husband Charles (affectionately “Tilly”).Jackie loved to camp, fish, hunt and participate in outdoor activities with her family. She loved to go to visit her sister and family on their ranch in the Big Bend area and let her children enjoy the beauty of west Texas. She also loved to take her children to her husband’s parent’s farm in North Texas. Jackie and Tilly got to travel around the USA and visit many of the beautiful National Parks.A genuine Texas gal, Jackie could hunt game, raise animals with her children and has even been known to kill a rattlesnake with nothing but a knife. She could oil paint, cook, bake, garden, keep books, doctor her children, master being a seamstress and maintain a loving Christian home.Jackie could almost match wits with any doctor, stay current with politics, keep entertained on computers and tablets and was an avid word game master.Her family has had the privilege to know a woman like no other, a wife loyal and faithful for 57 years, a mother unequalled in dedication and perseverance and friend who would extend her open arms as if accepting family for support, love and charity with grace.Jackie will leave a chasm as large as the State of Texas in the hearts of all who knew her and will be missed intensely until the Lord reunites her with her own.The family would like to express their gratitude towards the medical professionals of Fort Stockton, Odessa and Midland.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
