Oliver Leigh, 83, of Midland, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at the Hospice Inpatient Unit at Midland Memorial Hospital. Services are planned for a later date. He was born on February 19, 1922, in Loco, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a gunner mate first class. Mr. Leigh lived in Midland for the past eight years. Oliver had owned and operated several furniture stores. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include his son, Scott Leigh of Rio Oso, California.
