Uncle Vic, I will miss you greatly. You were the closest thing to a grandfather I had . I will always love you and you will always be in my heart. I have never met a sweeter man and the only comfort to me now is knowing that you are going to be with your "sweetie" from now on. I will never forget the summers I spent with you and Aunt Verna and how fun it was to be around you two. Words can never express what you mean to me and Grandma. I can never say thank you enough for always being there for Grandma and she will miss you as well.

I was blessed with many great Uncles but Uncle Vic always had a special place in my heart because he and Aunt Verna would take the nieces and nephews in for the summer when we were kids, way back in the 50's and 60's. Memories of those summers have got me thru many a rough spot in my life. Not sure Vic and Verna ever really understood what a great gift they had given me. Uncle Vic will be missed as is his dear wife Verna till I leave this earth. Glad they are together once again.

I feel lucky to have had the honor of meeting Vic at my Grandfather's WWII Army 96th Infantry Reunion in Salt Lake City. He made a strong impression on me, in the most positive of ways. For me, he personified the best of his generation. He will live on in my memory.

There just isn't enough space or words to say what a very special man Uncle Vic was. Our family was so blessed to have him and Aunt Verna. They always made each of us neices and nephews feel so special. We will miss him but know that he is with Verna, the love of his life. Theirs was a very special love story. I've learned how wonderful and important family is from Uncle Vic. Sue, you were the best daughter and took such wonderful care of him. My prayers are with you and all of your family. Love, Sherri
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Vic was a good friend for many years to our family. He trained Harold for 7 years before we moved into the company house N/W of Perry after Vic and Verna moved away. They were both good about keeping in touch over these many years and were always a joy to be around. We will certainly miss Vic just as we have Verna. Our prayers are that God will be with all of the family during these hard times giving peace as well as many good memories. Erma Ellis and Boys
