I would like to convey my sympathy to you in the loss your loved one. I'm sorry I didn't know Norma personally, but I do understand the pain of losing one so dear to you. I lost my father and then my younger brother. I found much comfort in reading the bible,as I'm sure you do also. Psalm 34:18 reassures us that we are never alone, more so at a time like this. John 11:11,14-44,shares with us a wonderful experience of a man named Lazarus. Jesus resurrected him here on earth before the very eyes of everyone gathered there. We can only imagine the tears of joy when Jesus called out in a loud voice,"Lazarus, come forth!"and he walked toward everyone there from his memorial tomb. We too will experience such joy when John 5:25-28 is fulfilled. Oh how we look forward to that day. Cherish the fond memories and keep them close to your heart, remember the things you learned from her by being a part of Normas' life and pass it on to others and her legacy will live on not only in others, but you also. Take care of your self so you can be there for those who love and need you now. Please, my condolences to all who knew Norma Runkel

Joe and I met Ed and Norma at the first SS party we attended after moving to Midland. Norma kept records in SS and always had a smile and kind word for everyone. We sat in front of them at early church. Ed we are alone now but life goes on and God intends for us to keep doing His work while we are here. Losing your mate is very difficult but time heals, just not as fast as we would like. Ed, you and your family are in my prayers. Blessings, Bea

I grew up on Apperson Drive. My memories of Norma are mostly from my childhood. She was kind; you could see it in her eyes and hear it in the tone of her voice. I had some really enjoyable conversations with her. My heart goes out to her family - they will be in my prayers.
