We loved Jane Blackwell. She was such a dear friend. We enjoyed ministries together at Golf Course Road in the nineties. Jane was always a delight...very kind and filled with joy. When we moved to Abilene, I missed her and Ray; however her daughter Kim always kept me up on how her parents were doing. She loved her family as well as her church family. I know she will be missed by everyone who knew her. May God bless the family, especially Ray, with His peace and His comfort. Our deepest sympathy to all.

I can hear Jane singing with a choir of angels. It was a blessing for me to have Jane as a friend, a sister in Christ, a confidante'. She was an encourager and a model of patience. Jane granted me the privilege of observing as she taught a Reading lesson. The student responded to her kindness and smile. I felt as if I were watching a painter working on a great masterpiece. My fondest memories are those quiet conversations we shared about our faith, and the prayers we prayed for our grandchildren.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We'll always remember meeting the Blackwells for dinner on our Hawaii cruise. Their sweet children had given them a cruise for their anniversary that year. What a wonderful mother you have, Kim! May you be filled with His peace and Presence.

Jane was a special lady. We only knew her after she became the loving mother-in-law to our daughter, but she was a savor the moment and a seize the day type of lady. We appreciated that, and know she will be sadly missed by the family we share, as well as many other relatives and friends.
