It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Norberto C. Rodriguez Sr, who peacefully departed this life on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 64 years old.
A viewing will begin at 8am until 9:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 and again on Sunday, April 6, 2025, 8:00am-9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm, all held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel.
Services will be at 10am on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine in Midland, Tx. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens in Midland, Tx.
Norberto (Beto) was born on June 6, 1960, in Tuxpan, Michoacan, Mexico to Filemon Rodriguez and Martha Coria. Beto was a devoted husband, loving father, exceptional grandfather “tata” and one of the most kind and humble friend.
Beto was known for the hardworking man that he was, he spent over 40 years working in the oil field where he shared with many his knowledge and love for the industry. When Beto was not working he was doing what he loved most, spending time with his loving wife and family.
Beto was a pillar of strength, a source of joy, a constant presence and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Beto is survived by his esteemed wife, Linda Rodriguez, his four children, Myra Chavez and husband Jacob Chavez of Midland, Norberto C. Rodriguez, Jr of Pecos, Delyssa Nunez and husband Robert Nunez of Midland, and Marc Rodriguez of Austin. Beto also leaves behind his most precious grandkids, Rylan Rodriguez, Madisson Chavez, Boe Chavez, Malayah Nunez, Shyla Rodriguez, Abram Nunez, Meadow Chavez, Liam Chavez and Adani Nunez. Siblings; Rosalva, Fidel, Martha, Consuelo, Manuel, Martin, Filemon and Justo as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Beto is preceded in death by his father, Filemon Rodriguez, mother, Martha Coria, father-in-law, Adan Medina, Sr and mother-in-law, Maria Luisa Medina.
On behalf of his family, they would like to extend their most sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Bajaj and his staff at Texas Oncology, Dr. Kamble and his staff at Houston Methodist and Dr. Punwani and his staff at Mayo Clinic in Arizona.
Serving as pallbearers will be Manel Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Fidel Rodriguez, Eduardo Rodriguez, Victor Del Rosario, and Arturo Zamarripa.
