Nita Lucille (Kolie) White, 96, long time resident of Big Spring, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.
Nita was born September 8, 1927 in Cold Springs, Oklahoma to parents Marion Ellis Stow and Owen Dumas (Warren) Stow. She met the love of her life, Jack Kellum White and they were married in 1948. She was a devoted wife until his passing in 2015. She had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for over 35 years before retiring. Nita was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Ina Dunaway and her brother Ralph Stow.
She is survived by her sons Alan White and family and Terry White and family.
