Nichole Lorraine Diaz 41, of Midland Texas passed away on August 8, 2024.

Nichole was born on October 29, 1982 in San Angelo, Texas.  After graduating from Midland Lee High School she went onto Midland College to earn her Associates degree in nursing.  During this time she had a beautiful daughter, Lilith Mizzles (23).  She then moved to Boston for a short time where she was a home health care worker.

She then returned to Midland Texas and proceeded to go back to school and get her bachelors in nursing and worked for labor and delivery and the OR for Midland Memorial Hospital.  She was married and had two more beautiful children, Alex Diaz (14) and Freya Diaz (8).   Later on she got her Masters in infomatics (Medical systems computers) and worked on the computer systems at both Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center Hospital.

She had a love of all things Comic Con and Anime.  She was a wonderful painter and painted many things for the family that they will cherish. She loved to bake wonderful treats for the whole family.  And come holiday time she decorated the entire house for Halloween and Christmas.   She loved to travel and go to hard rock concerts. Nichole was a very special person and found beauty in any and everything.  She was amazing listener and would always try to help her entire family and friends.  She had a smile that would light up the room she could definitely make you smile.

She is survived by her children Lilith Mizzles (Marie), Alex Diaz, and Freya Diaz.  She is also survived by her father Darwin Frost and mother Catherine Frost, her sisters Samantha Trent (Hunter), Whitney Walker (Phillip), aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews.  All whom will miss her presence immensely.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gary and Patricia Moseley and Joe and Madelyn Lee, and John Buretz.

She was loved and will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.
