Ozelle Berry Miller, 101, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Derrick Looney officiating. Interment will follow at Westbrook Cemetery in Westbrook.Ozelle was born April 28, 1915 in Westbrook where she grew up and graduated from Westbrook High School. She attended business school in Ft. Worth and during World War II she worked at Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego, California. She then started a 38 year career working in accounting for several automotive dealerships. She was especially fond of working for Tommy Manuel, owner of West Loop Dodge in Ft. Worth. She also loved playing the piano at church and listening to Joe Wennik sing gave her great joy. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and a Christian influence to all who knew her.Ozelle is survived by a son, Don Miller and wife, Lanette of Big Spring; a daughter-in-law, Jan Miller of Midland; eight grandchildren, Jimmy Miller and wife, Ellie, Julie Alley and husband, Jeremy, Karen Reber and husband, Dean, Craig Miller and wife, Paula, Tony Harrison, Jorene Gardner, Stacy Miller and Julie Foster; eight great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, James Dennis and Martha Ann Berry; a son, Wendell Miller; a granddaughter, Jana Harrison; three brothers, Jack, Mutt and Elton Berry; and twin sisters, Ruth Pike and Ruby Phillips.Pallbearers will be Terry Nichols, Glenn Fillingim, Carl Johansen, Stanley Phillips, Ronald Phillips and Gary Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Wash and Dale Hartin.The family suggests memorials be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
