Nedra Louise McDonald

Nedra Louise McDonald, 81 years old from Odessa Texas, passed away Thursday the 18^th at 10:30pm.  The viewing will begin at 8:00am- 1:30pm on Friday the 26^th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring located at 906 Gregg Street, Big Spring, Texas 79720. Services will follow at 2:00pm on Friday the 26^th at Trinity Memorial Park located at 6900 US-87 S., Big Spring, Texas 79720.

Nedra McDonald was born on May 18^th, 1944, in the city of Rising Star in Eastland County, Texas to James Alvin Walters Jr. and Mildred Louise Butler.  She was married to Rodney Wayne McDonald on January the 6^th, 1971. She was a devoted wife and mother, when her own mother passed away at the age of 50 in 1972. Rodney and Nedra willingly raised her younger brother Jerry Walters. She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to Willie Nelson, doing crossword puzzles and lived a full, joyous life. She will be missed greatly on this side of Heaven.

Nedra McDonald is survived by her husband, Rodney Wayne McDonald; and her sons, James Ronald Osborne and Marc Wayne McDonald; her grandkids, Shanae’ McDonald, Chanler McDonald, Brad Osborne, Ashley Osborne, Jazlyn McDonald, Sofia McDonald, Ashley McDonald, Kody Shrader, Shasta Nicole and Mickey McDonald; brother, James Alvin Walters; sister, Martha Sue Barber; and niece, Dara Dawn Flannigan Walters.
