Neal Watkins, 61, of Big Spring, Texas, died on September 27, 2003, in a Midland hospital. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Malcolm Pointon, officiating. He was born on February 19, 1942, in Sparrows Point, Maryland and married Marie Carey on April 4, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada.Neal had served his country in the United States Navy from February 1958 to November 1966. He moved to Big Spring in 1978 and was manager of the body shop at Pollard Chevrolet for eighteen years. He was a member of the Christ Community Fellowship. Survivors include his wife, Marie Watkins of Big Spring; one son, Leonard Watkins of Big Spring; one sister, Judith Warner of Baltimore, Maryland and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. The family will receive friends at 803 Baylor on Monday, September 29, 2003, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
