I coached Nate in little league. He was a great young man, always had a smile on his face. Nathan was good at everything, he was a great baseball player, a skilled hunter, and anything else he did! So sorry for his loss, and praying for peace for his family!

Dear Clyde, Latisha, Nathans boys, and the rest of his family, I am sending my deepest condolences. Nathan was a great person. Growing up in Midland, Nate was one of my best friends. He taught me how to shoot, and boy did we shoot! We’d go out shooting anything and everything, pretty much on a daily basis, throughout our teenage years. Blaring music and singing at the top of our lungs. Chasing rabbits and coyotes in the middle of nowhere with a truck full of friends. Making bonfires and driving 4 wheelers through them in caliche pits. Going fishing at the lake. Going to Mexico. Bailing out Lukey Lou. Learning that the lake in Snyder is located in a dry county, oops. The “exhibition of acceleration” incident, haha. Hanging out at your parents house because they were nice enough to tolerate a bunch of teenagers! Your first rental house where you let a dozen people live & you’d bbq for everyone & sing country songs & tell us to call you Papaw Nate. Nate was always making everyone laugh. It was an honor to call him a dear friend. My heart absolutely breaks for y’all. I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish I knew what words to say to help heal your grief. He was very loved. May he rest in peace & watch over his family. I’ll miss my friend.
