Joe Merrick left a message on August 12, 2012:
Deanie, I was very saddened to hear of Nathans' passing. We worked 26 years at the Styrene Monomer unit and when it was shut down we both bumped into the Crude/Reformer and both retired from there. We were in the same classification for most of those years so we were not on the same shift. In all those years I never heard anyone say anything other than good things about him. The people who worked under him would say they never worked for any one they would rather work for. My deepest sympathy goes to you and Bud and Linda. Joe Merrick
