Nancy Powell

Nancy Powell, 54, of Carrollton formerly of Stanton, died on Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2001 at First United Methodist Church in Stanton with Rev. Skip Hodges pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton. She was born on October 22, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Nancy moved to Stanton in 1947 from Corpus Christi. She had moved to Midland in 1970 and worked as a dental assistant for Jack Young, DDS and had also worked as a draftsman for Midland Map Company. She then moved to Dallas in 1996. She was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church in Plano. Survivors include her loving companion, Kovey Powell of Stanton; a daughter, Amy Powell Judd and husband, Claude of Lewisville and 3 grandchildren, Ben Nielsen, Katie Nielsen and Sarah Judd all of Lewisville. She is preceded in death by parents, mother and step-father, Bobbie and O.L. Snodgrass and her father, Alan B. Williams. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 2304 W.
