Nancy Francelle Pierson (7/9/1939-7/21/2024), 84, passed peacefully at home with her loving husband of 42 years Gary Don Pierson.
Nancy was born July 24, 1939 in Midland, TX to Phelan and Ina Fae Porter. She was a lifetime Midlander. Nancy was fierce and passionate about all things that she cared for. She spent the majority of her life bookkeeping; she was also a wonderful seamstress. She loved to teach Sunday School and devoted her life to God.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Gary Don Pierson, Tracie Bell (daughter) Erik Muncy (grandson), Terra Roberts (granddaughter), Kathy Horne (stepdaughter), Stetson Horne (grandson), Alexis Olivio (granddaughter), Amy Achterberg (stepdaughter), Sarah Achterberg (granddaughter), and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Phelan Porter (father), Ina Fae Porter (mother), Audie Porter (brother), Leonard Porter (brother), Leo Porter (brother).
We have an abundant amount of thanks to Rue and Michelle Cox, Abundant Life Worship Center, and Home Hospice -Melany, Christina and all staff at Home Hospice.
Services will be held on Saturday July 27, 2024 at 1pm at Abundant Life Worship Center- 4801 Princeton Ave, Midland, TX 79703
