Nancy D. Murphy, 75, of Garden City, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm, Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.

Nancy was born March 11, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas to Vernon Lewis and Josephine Boggs Lewis. She was a lifelong resident of Garden City and was a homemaker. She married Grover William Murphy Jr. on July 1, 1966 in Big Spring. She loved horses, was an artist, painter, photographer and an avid gardener. She was a member of Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband Bill Murphy; one son: Brant Murphy and wife Debby and one daughter: Dusti Donaldson and husband Eric, all of Garden City and 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
