Myrna Faye Johnson was born August 28, 1932 in Midland, Texas to Robert and Vilena Cain Johnson. She was raised on a farm in the Valley View Community, attended school in a one-room schoolhouse until 5th grade. She then began attending Midland schools. Myrna graduated from Midland High School in 1950. She married James C. Holliday in 1950, and they had two daughters, Michele and Jamye. Myrna worked at Wimples Music and later worked at the Forest Oil Corporation where she retired from.
In her retirement years she enjoyed cooking and washing dishes, water exercises at COM and the kids in her life.
Myrna was preceded in death by her mom and dad, five siblings, daughter, Michele Bradley and grandchildren, Melissa Bradley Reynaud and Dustin Bradley.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamye Ball and husband, Brian; grandsons, Nicholas Atchley and wife Wendy and Adam Ball; great grandchildren, Catcher Reynaud, Townsend Reynaud, Logan Atchley, Brooklyn Atchley and great-great granddaughter Iris Reynauld.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Monday, February 23, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A family graveside service will take place Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
