Monica was a very charismatic, outgoing, loving, hilarious, and strong woman. She took pride in loving and helping others. She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and being the center of attention. Over the years she found peace and solitude in meditation, coloring, and gardening. What she took pride in the most was being Memo not only to her grandkids but also to the people she came across. One of the most amazing traits and characteristics she possessed is her courage and strength she had throughout life. In October of 2014 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. Monica was never complacent when it came to her determination to fighting for her life and never allowed the cancer to dictate her life. Her battle has finally come into the hands of our heavenly father and the Lord has received her into his eternal kingdom. We will have her forever in our hearts. She has left a remarkable image of what a courageous Cancer fighter is. We would like to thank The Cancer Center of America in Goodyear, Arizona for their outstanding medical care and staff.
