Moises Arteaga Martinez, age 40, of Midland, Texas, passed away on May 22, 2026, in Midland, Texas. He was born on May 9, 1986, in Odessa, Texas, to Moises Martinez Sr. and Audelia Martinez.
Moises was a loving son, brother, uncle, and devoted father whose life touched many people through his kindness, unique spirit, and unconditional love. As a person with autism, Moises viewed the world in his own special way and brought joy, honesty, and warmth to those who knew him best. He had a gentle heart and a love for people that will never be forgotten.
More than anything in this world, Moises loved his daughter, Zoe Martinez. She was the center of his life, his greatest pride, and his greatest source of happiness. He cherished every moment spent with her, and his love for Zoe was pure, unwavering, and unconditional. Everyone who knew Moises could see the special bond he shared with his daughter and the joy he felt in being her father.
Moises was also known for the love he showed to his family and friends, always bringing smiles, laughter, and comfort to those around him. He loved deeply and cared sincerely for those closest to him.
He is survived by his parents, Moises Martinez Sr. and Audelia Martinez; his brother, Jorge Arteaga Martinez; his beloved daughter, Zoe Martinez; and his three nieces, whom he loved dearly.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jorge Martinez, Ezekiel Martinez, Jaime Martinez, Pedro Chavez, Guillermo Chavez, and Leobardo Chavez.
Moises will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him. Though his time on earth was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
