Milton D. Shirley,74, of Odessa, died on Thursday, June 12, 2003, in a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2003 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Odessa with Rev. Cheryl Homsher, associate pastor, officiating. He was born on April 21, 1929, in Portales, New Mexico and married Mary Ann Teague on February 4, 1977 in Nevada. Mr. Shirley enjoyed hunting, golf and reading. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a Member of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers. Survivors include his wife; Mary Ann Shirley of Odessa, two daughters & sons-in-law, Vicky and Darrell Norris of Odessa and Jackie and Stanley Thatcher of Terrell; one son & daughter-in-law, Bill and Kelley Howard of Odessa; one sister & brother-in-law; Shirlee and Lynn Avis of Houston; three grandchildren, Jason Norris and his wife, Rebekah of Houston, Brittany Howard of Coleman, and Chad Howard of Odessa; one niece, Marty Wilson and husband, Steve of Bay City, Texas.
