*Media Obituary*Mildred Menser, 83, of Coahoma, died on Sunday, December 26, 2004, in a Big Spring hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Elwin Collum, pastor of First Baptist Church of Coahoma officiating, Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.Mildred was born on June 15, 1921, in Coahoma, Texas and married W. Leon Menser on August 26, 1939 in Coahoma and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1990.Mrs. Menser was born and raised in Coahoma and her parents were Howard and Mary Reid. She graduated from Coahoma High School and was a lifelong resident of Coahoma. Mrs. Menser had worked in the Coahoma Post Office for 25 years before she retired. She enjoyed painting as a hobby for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Coahoma and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #67.Survivors include one son, Tommy Menser of Waxahachie, Texas; one daughter and her husband, Jerriann & Lee Lott of Conroe, Texas; a sister, Sandra Dunzel of Weatherford, Texas; a brother, Wallace Reid of Coahoma, Texas; four grandchildren, Kamrine, Kristin, James, & Joe; 2 great grandchildren; one special nephew and his wife, Ronnie & Carol Reid of Coahoma, Texas She was preceded in death by by her parents, one brother, and one sister.The family suggest memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Coahoma P.
