George Williams, Jr. left a message on December 29, 2009:
Mrs. McMahon was one of my favorite people. I cannot count the times she and her sister Jo took me to school, fed me, took me in on Holidays when my parents were working or Ill. Her sons, Tommy and Jerry and I spent many hours, days, weeks, months, and yes years playing all kinds of games and getting into some things we did not need to be into. Tommy and Jerry's dog Tex was my pet as well as theirs. One morning we were awaiting a ride to school when Tex mistook my leg for a fire plug. However, I continued to love that big white with brown spots dog. I had a dog get run over one time, Mrs McMahon was there to embrace me. I do not remember what she said but I do remember her arms around me and the love coming from her. I was not suppose to shoot my B B gun in town, well me and the boys would walk the alleys shooting birds, lizards, and horned toads. Being a Counselor now, I told Tommy that I had learned that one of the signs of an emotionally disturbed kid was sometimes one who had abused animals. Tommy looked at me and said ah, oh! I do feel that Tommy, Jerry, me, and other neighborhood friends grew up to be some what successful and respondsible adults because of Mrs, Mildred McMahon. I know God is telling her well done my faithful servant. Mrs. McMahon, I am looking forward to giving you another hug some day in the future. Love Georgie Williams.
