Heaven certainly aquired an amazing angel. Prayers to her family and all who loved her so. She will be greatly missed. I loved listening to her stories and was honored to be able to do her maincures and pedicures. RIP Mildred.

Mildred touched our lives in soooo many ways. Her bread and peanut brittle; although she made me pecan. She made me the hairdresser I am by putting her foot down and telling me she would give me one more chance. She was an angel in so many ways. I told her once she was earning her wings with all the people she cared for. She told me you look like hell. I was fortunate enough to get to repeat those exact words to her. My husband met her when picking her up for her hair appointment. He loved her from the start.I have always said I'd write a book one day and half of it would be about Mildred Franklin. She will be missed. And she has our love and memories. Our sympathy to her family and friends. She will be missed. Casey and Dionne Pledger.

First of all Thanks to Mildreds family, for sharing her with us. Things won't be the same at Marcy House since our good friend has left us. The smell of cookies through the house, the big smile, and the laughter is quiet now, but you will never be forgotten. You left big shoes to fill, but like you said life goes on sugar. Thanks for makeing us be better people. God Bless, Until we meet again, our angel friend!

What a treat that Sis and Mary came to my birthday...all the way to Tyler a few years ago. Though far apart in miles, she was always in my heart and will continue to warm my fondest memories. The world was truly a better place for her having been here.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

If we could, Donna and I would join you at the services, but I'm teaching the first summer semester and Donna's back makes long road trips inadvisable. I'm so sorry to hear this news. Although we didn't often get a chance to visit, I treasure the occasions when your excellent mother and I shared time. I'm mighty grateful to have had Sis in my life and extended family. Please know that you don't grieve alone.

I know that my friend arrived in heaven and spread joy there as she did here. Mildred was involved in the homebound ministry, and I was blessed to visit her. She had been faithful to spread her smile to my mother when she lived in Marcy House, and I considered her a special Christian. The visitor was deemed to bring happiness, but I always came away happy to have been in her presence!!She will truly be missed.
