On Monday, November 30, 2020, Michelle Nicole Saiz passed away at the age of 27. Michelle was born April 28, 1993, in Midland, TX to Rebecca (Becky) and Jessie Saiz. After graduating from Midland High School in 2011, Michelle went on to pursue a degree from West Texas A&M University. Although her passion was always in art and music, Michelle found her true love in education. In 2014 she graduated from WTAMU, and shortly after, began teaching at South Elementary in Midland, TX. Although Michelle loved her kids and work family at South Elementary, she was recruited in 2019 to teach at Midland Academy Charter School. Teaching her students was her passion, and her kids were her life. Michelle had a deep passion for music.

She had a marvelous voice, and she would use her gift to bring joy to all those around her. Michelle was a selfless person; she always put others before herself. She had a knack for bringing out the best in people. She was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Michelle is survived by her parents Becky and Jessie Saiz, sisters Rose Saiz and Jennifer Coronado (Corey Loudermill), nephew Dante Coronado, grandparents, God Parents, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

The Rosary will be held at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 7:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through the families Facebook page.

Our condolences are with the family. When I first meet her she left a big impression on how she deeply love her job and dedication for the kids. My daughter was blessed to have Ms Saiz as a teacher. She will be deeply missed.

We loved Ms. Saiz. She was my daughter Jennifer’s teacher last year at Midland Academy. She was so sad to hear the news. One of the best teachers we’ve had. What a tragic loss. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

God received an angel with open arms He let us borrow his angel for a little while And decided it was time for her to go home Thank you God for the beautiful angel, you brought into our lives, And sharing her with us, We will treasure and hold her in our thoughts forever, I was at the grocery store yesterday and I saw Cream cream cheese. I remembered She show me how to make tortilla wraps with cream cheese and ham and onions for Sylvia’s bachelorette party. And all the games we played and the laughter‘s we all shared. Then I remembered a taco Tuesday, where we met at roses. There is so many of us we were all squished together at the table. Michelle sat next to me and I told her I’m sorry I am all up in your personal space. And she looks at me and says if I didn’t know you then I would have a problem with it. And I gave her a big hug. Taco Tuesday will never be the same without her. But I know she would wanna to go on having taco Tuesday. Life is so short we don’t know how long we have on this earth. Every day is a gift and it takes something so devastating like this to remind us of that. She is written in our memories and in our thoughts We are so blessed that we were gifted these special moments with her. She lives on in our memories and in our hearts. We Love you so much

Michelle has been my only best friend for years. There is no one that can fill up the void Michelle has imprinted in me. In all of us. You will be missed and will always be loved. I love you my sweet forever gorgeous best friend.

I remember when she was in my kindergarten class at Ben Milam. So sorry to hear of her passing. Sending sympathy to the family.
