Melanie A Weaver, 58, of Midland, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her home in Greenwood, TX. Melanie was born on April 20, 1954, in Dallas Texas, to William and Marilynn Weaver.She is survived by her mother Marilynn Weaver of Midland, her two sons and one daughter, Jarrod Fausett of Warrensburg, MO, Maranda Narlock and Charles Fausett of Midland; two granddaughters, Natalie and Erica, one grandson Zachary, and three sisters, Neena Tefteller, Kathy Faulk and Kim Weaver.Her father, William R. Weaver, and brother, Billy Weaver preceded her in death.Melanie was a long time resident of Midland where she lived since leaving her childhood home in Dallas at the age of 3. She graduated from Texas Tech and was a paralegal and loving mother.She loved to garden and enjoyed reading, stargazing and spending time with her grandchildren.An informal memorial ceremony will be held from 2 PM until 4 PM on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Melanie loved to play online word and music games and played almost daily. She was well liked by all and had many friends on those sites. I was fortunate to be one of those friends for many years. I am greatly saddened and we will miss her sense of humor and positive outlook dearly. My prayers and thoughts go out to Melanie and her family.

Am shocked and in disbelief. I am gona miss Melanie so much. What a bond we had from the very first post to one another. Met her in FB amd we hit it off perfectly. Talk about cutting up, we did that constantly. Had so much fun in RIMW. Am gonna miss our competitions in SONGPOP and hwer always uplifting posts, and her messages she would leave me and vice versa. My prayers are wtih all her family and may God comfort you all as only HE can. Miss you already Mel. Am so blessed to have known you.

My sincerest condolence's to Melanie's family. I met Melanie on FB(RIMW) about a year and a half ago, and Melanie was a great friend to me and she was a special person to have known. She had a good sense of humor like no other! I had shared a few private messages with Melanie last wednesday or thursday and I will forever remember those message's we shared!! Little did I know that she would be gone so soon after. Melanie was a very kind and sincere person and will be missed by all who knew her!!

Even though I met Mel on FB, I feel that I have known her since our days at Lee. She was a year behind me and I found after meeting her on FB, we had many mutual friends back in the day. I will definitely miss her kind words and sense of humor and her love for music. We had much fun discussing and posting songs from days gone by. A lovely person, she will certainly be missed. I was a former HS classmate and Facebook friend of Melanie. She was an imaginative and creative friend, and we both shared a genuine love for music, particularly songs from the 60s and 70s.I am so sorry for her family and friends, losing Melanie at such a young age. God's Blessing on each and every one of you during this difficult time.
