Meagan Jun Elvena, age 24, of Midland, Texas, was called home on Tuesday October 19, 2021. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, on July 10, 1997. Meagan graduated from Lee High School in Midland, Texas, in 2015 and was working towards her Associate’s Degree in Business at Midland College.
Meagan was a waitress/bartender at Wall Street Bar and Grill for seven years. She was an adventurous soul who loved to travel, snow board in Colorado, and attend the EDC festival in Las Vegas two years with her friend Alyssa. Meagan was a kind and giving person, who loved to help others when she could.
She is survived by her one-year-old daughter Demeigh Grey, whom she loved and adored, mother Carley Elvena, father Allen Elvena, siblings Taylor Nicole Elvena Sanchez, Anniston Leah Elvena, Allen Mikel Elvena and Hailyn Jade Elvena, grandparents Tommy and Laura Fort and Judy Rodriquez.
Meagan’s work here is done. She received a call, with an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. Her new assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus; a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. Her new assignment will take her to wonderful places where she will be socializing and dancing to her heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. The food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. She left her family detailed instructions to celebrate her mission while she was here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to these instructions will not be tolerated. We want to let her know that she did a great job while she was with us and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her laughter, her energy, her love for life, family and friends. She worked very hard all her life and overcame a great many difficulties. Along the way she made many, many friends and made difference in a great many lives.
We invite you to join us in celebrating her life. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 27th at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland, TX, from 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Stonegate Fellowship Church in Midland on Thursday, October 28th at 2:00 pm.
If you so desire, a “GoFundMe” in her honor is still accepting donations and a raffle is also being held. Please reach out to family for details or see Meagan’s Facebook page.
”When you think of Meagan, celebrate all the good memories you had or made with her. Then remind yourself and others that life is short and fragile and should be lived to the fullest.”
