Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.Mrs. Miller was born on November 1, 1928, in Fairview, and married Max Zant on November 2, 1946. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1977. She later married Gail Miller in 1992 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2002. She was a member of Anderson Street Church of Christ. Maxine had taught school 25 years for Big Spring ISD. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge. She enoyed quilting and fishing.Survivors include three sons, Leslie Zant and John Zant both of Big Spring, and Lloyd Zant of Alvin; two daughters, Lawanda Zant of Big Spring, and Loretta O'Neal of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; one sister, Jewel Adams of Granbury; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Key, one son Larry Zant and one daughter LaVonne Zant. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the funeral home.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
