Mathew Bryan Granado, 24 of Midland, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm. Tuesday January 11, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Mathew was born on May 2, 1997 in Midland, Texas to Joey and Brenda Granado. He lived in Midland his entire childhood life attending schools at Parker Elementary, Abell Jr. High and Midland Lee High School. He had a love for war history and a passion for music such as ;his favorite band of all time The Beatles. Maty had an ambitious personality, and a pure genuine heart. He was loving and accepting all things and people, saw the beauty in the most of beautiful of creations such as bluebonnets to the weeds on the side of the road, There was nothing to him that didn’t have beauty, especially his momma. His past time was cooking up new dishes and making sure we ate them and told him over and over how delicious they were.
Mathew is survived by his mother Brenda Ortiz Granado and partner Sergio Garcia, his father Joey Granado and spouse Brittany Granado. His brothers Brandon Ethan Granado and partner Hannah Rodriguez and Cameron Joe Granado of Midland. Along with is step-siblings Legend, Bronx, and Lyric; Grandmothers, Macaria Ortiz of Andrews and Mildred Rayos of Midland; Grandfather Florencio Ortiz and spouse Maria Ortiz; Aunts, Verenice Ortiz, Flor B. Salgado and husband Andy Salgado, and Valerie Martinez-Gallegos, and Jennifer Granado; Uncles, Luis A. Ortiz and wife Erika, David Ortiz and wife Natalie, Joey and wife Crystal, Jesse and wife Jesenia all of Midland. John Michael Martinez, John Martinez and Wally Granado of Austin; Cousins, Julee Ortiz, Joey Lopez, Ayden, Addysen, and Ausytn, Aliek, Zoei, Presslyn, Penelope, Jay and Lily; and His Ride or Die Companion, Hope Granado (Mathew’s pet Morkie)
Mathew is preceded in death by his great grandparents Isidro Guajardo, Arcadio and Gloria Granado, and grand-father Octavio Martinez Granado.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Granado, Cameron Granado, Joey Lopez, Ayden Ortiz, Justin Valdez, Jared Valdez, Aliek Ortiz, Patrick Hobson, Nico Real.
