Maryann Baker, of Midland, passed away surrounded by her loving family, on August 12, 2021. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on August 17, 2021, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel.

Maryann was born on June 18, 1963, in Tulia, TX to Alex and Julia Vasquez.

Maryann is survived by her parents; her husband, Ronald Baker; her children, Tiffany Daugherty, Shauna Vasquez, and Chas Martinez; her grandchildren, Madison, Miracle, Kale, Andrea, and Brock. She is also survived by four siblings; Alex Vasquez, Jr., Ricky Vasquez, Tony Vasquez, and Esther Garcia, their spouses and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandson, Tripp.

Maryann was truly one of a kind. A loving wife, an affectionate mother, a faithful daughter, a loyal sister, and the very best grandma. “Mom” had one of the biggest smiles that would light up any room she entered, and the most contagious laugh you’ve ever heard. She will be missed by many.

Maryann always had a big smile and a hug for her friends and family. I'll always remember our laughter while drinking wine, miss you dearly my friend ❤

I had the absolute pleasure of working with MaryAnn at Ring Energy for a short period of time. We all loved her. She always had that beautiful smile on her face and was such a joy to be around. I am so sad to hear of her passing. I know she will be missed by her amazing family that she so adored. My deepest condolences.
