Mary Vaundell (Womack) Kemp, age 98, of Arlington, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023. A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm, Monday, May 22, 2023 at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born October 5, 1924 in Colorado City, Texas to James Michael Womack and Chloe Merle (Reese) Womack. She married the love of her life Walter Lonnie Kemp August 3, 1943 in Ackerly, Texas.
Survivors include her children: Walter Michael Kemp and wife Barbara, Richard Bradley Kemp and Londa Vaun (Kemp) Cooper and husband Richard; sisters: Martha Jean Parker and Ruth Ann Floyd and husband Don; grandchildren: Bill Kemp, Brady Kemp and wife Elise, Chris Kemp and wife Rebecca, Brandon Kemp and friend Maria and Keri Edwards and husband Jim; great grandchildren: Kaylin Edwards, Jimmy Edwards, Luke Kemp, Lexie Kemp, Joley Kemp and Sealey Kemp along with nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by husbands Walter Lonnie Kemp and James Hooten, her parents James Michael and Chloe Merle Womack and her brother James Womack.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Cherokee Children’s Home.
