To the family of Mrs. Mary Sue Lister: May the Lord bless you with love and understanding that Mary Sue is in heaven. She lived a full life here on earth, and earned her reward. I will forever cherish her memory as a wonderful friend of the Calvin and Berne Lee family. We were next door neighbors for many years on Jackson Street, and we loved each other as children of God. Mary Sue will forever live in our hearts. God bless you Lister family. Stay strong!
Margaret LuWertha Hiett Williams left a message on November 17, 2020:
Mary Sue and I both went to work at MMH the same day. That was June 5, 1955. We were taught how to give bed baths, take vital signs and we were paid 50 cents an hour. She was 18 and I was 16. By the time the Candy Stripers were started in December of 1955, Mary Sue had married James. Mary Sue was a good Nurses Aide. May she Rest In Peace and May Light Perpetual Shine Upon Her. LuWertha
