Mary Louise Erwin, 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at her residence.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Tom Campbell, officiating.D.M. & Delsie Logan welcomed their daughter into this world on February 2, 1929 in Colorado City, Texas. On November 27, 1952 Mary married Curtis Erwin Jr. in Colorado City, Texas and the couple moved to Midland in 1968. She enjoyed reading for the blind at the library and was involved with Meals on Wheels of Midland. She especially enjoyed their home in Cloudcroft, NM. Traveling was another of Marys joys; visiting the far east and Europe. Her travels also took her to Italy where she spent a month enjoying her talent painting. Mary was a member of the 99s Womens Pilot Organization.Survivors include her husband, Curtis Erwin Jr. of Midland; son David Curtis Erwin and wife Julie; and grandson, Christopher Ryan Erwin.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Hospice of Midland, PO Box 2621, Midland, TX 79702.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
