Richie, David, Susan and Pat--Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. We all rememebr Mary Lou just as you described her. In the last years of her--and Renie's life--I think I spent as much time with Mary Lou as I did with Renie, which I always cherished. Mary Lou was a wonderful person, funny, caring, big hearted, with a wry--slightly devilish-- sense of humor; for some one so small, she had a presence and a personality that made here 10 feet tall. I will miss the stories, the laughter, and the inside scoop of all things west texas. I will also miss her elegenace, her kindness and warmth, which knowing how close Renie and she were, made me fell so much more sure that my mom was hay as she was with her best friend, and her 'lost' sister--keeping each other company, and so happy when we were not all there. Losing a mother is somehow different and they were responsibile for bringing you into the world--having just loss Renie I am very sensitive to your loss, and want you to know our prayers are with you. But then again we should not dwell on these losses as painful as they are, as the two ladies and best friends would never have wanted us to do so. In fact I am certian they woud have wanted us to celebrate their lives and think of the future as we should do everday. Michael and Patti
