Mary Lee Loudamy was born July 9, 1919, in Miles, Texas to Fielding Evans and Annie Lee Reeder Combs. She married Leo Murrel Loudamy February 25, 1940 in Miles.She resided in Miles where she was very active in the community until 1958 when she moved to Big Spring, Texas, then in 1978 moved to Del Rio, Texas.She was a devout Christian, and taught Sunday School for 24 years at the First Baptist Church in Del Rio.She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, and was always there for anything concerning her children or grandchildren. She was our "Mammy".She loved gardening, was an avid rock hound, and did lovely oil paintings. She and Murrel loved to go camping, fishing, deer hunting, and any other outdoor sports. They had traveled extensively in the United States.She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Murrel Loudamy; one daugher, Pat Low of Big Spring; two granddaughters, Lisa Page of Big Spring and Lee Ann Dorton and husband, John of Harlingen; two great- granddaughters, Amanda Morrow and husband, Dusty of Big Spring and Jessica Bomar and husband, Devon of Midland; three great-great grandchildren, Melanie and McKayla Morrow, and Dexter Bomar.A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring, Texas. Interment will follow at the Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas.The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater West Texas Chapter, 4400 N.
