Mary Lee Hobbs, 82, of Big Spring, died on Friday, January 20, 2006, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2006 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Sil Moore, of Lubbock officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.She was born on January 7, 1924, in Murchison, Texas and married Roy Hobbs on March 9, 1942 in Tyler, Texas.Mrs. Hobbs was a longtime resident of Big Spring. She was an avid camper and belonged to the Western Drifters and the Triple L (Live longer and love it). She enjoyed quilting and had been quilting since she was a young girl.She was a member of Baptist Temple Church and especially enjoyed her Sunday School Class.Survivors include her husband, Roy Hobbs of Big Spring; two daughters, Royce June Underwood of Andrews and Paula Ann Stiles of Stanton; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, six brothers and four sisters..
