Mary Frances Booker was born September 23, 1928 in Stamford, TX to Roland H. and Elizabeth R. Allen. She was called to come home to our Lord on Sunday, March 02, 2014.Mary attended the Midland, TX Independent Schools and graduated from George Washington Carver High School. In 1944, she married Earl Dixson Booker and cherished 48 years of marriage. They had five children, Patricia, Earl Jr. Edward, Sandra and Brian.Mary was baptized at an early age and faithfully served the Lord at the Lee Street, North A and Tennessee, and Seagoville Road Churches of Christ. Her passions in life were going to church and raising her five children to know the Lord, cooking mouth-watering southern meals for her husband and children and enjoying her large extended family.Mary was preceded in death by her husband Earl, sons Earl Jr. and Edward. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Pat (H.R.), Sandra (Jerry), son Brian and grandchildren, Robert, Jason, Belisa, CaSaundra (Travarious), LaVinya, Maya (Brian), Adam, Daniel and great-grandchildren, Terranee, Ron, Kierra, LaDon-na, Omare, Olivia, Luke, and Taylor, great-great granddaughter Journie.Services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.,
