Mary Holloway, 77, of Stanton, died on Thursday, January 12, 2006, in a Midland hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Stanton with Rev. David Harp, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 4 Pm, Sunday, January 15 at the funeral home. She was born on September 22, 1928, in Greenville, South Carolina and married Norwood Holloway on June 3, 1947 in Lenorah, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1998.Mary worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Greenville and Stanton for a number of years. She and her husband farmed in Martin County for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was active in the Home Extension Club for many years. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Adams of Midland; one granddaughter, Laurie Belew and her husband Zack of Lubbock and one grandson, Jeff Adams of Midland. She was also preceded in death by one son, Carl Eugene Holloway in 1968, her parents, and two brothers, Fred and Heyward Buchanan.The family suggests memorials made to: First Baptist Church of Stanton, P.O.
