Mary Ann Holman, a devoted wife, loving mother, and steady light to everyone who knew her, passed away on January 12, 2026, surrounded by love.
Born on May 8, 1940, in Levelland, Texas. She married the love of her life, Donald Holman, on September 25, 1957. Mary Ann lived a life rooted in her faith in the Lord, her family, kindness, and quiet strength. She loved deeply, gave generously, and carried herself with grace even during life’s most difficult moments.
Above all, Mary Ann treasured her love for her creator and her family. She was the heart of the home, the one who kept everyone connected, supported, and loved. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and her love for them was constant, patient, and steady. As a wife, she was a true partner and best friend, offering comfort, laughter, and unwavering support through every season.
Mary Ann found happiness in the simple, meaningful things: cooking, shopping, hummingbirds, watching her grandchildren’s sporting activities, traveling, and the holidays. She will be remembered by her beautiful smile, faith, strength, gentleness, and resilience, and for the way she made ordinary moments feel like home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ella Rhe Fisher, her brother, C.G. Fisher, Jr., and two grandchildren, Brent High and Beheren Brewer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Donald J. Holman; her children, Karla Clarke and her spouse, Ralph Clarke, Carmen Ritchey, and her spouse, Phillip Ritchey. Her five grandchildren, Kambrah Wiseman and husband Greg, Ian Ritchey and wife Kelly, Bradan Ritchey and wife Kayla, Cerbi Brewer and husband Mitch. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren: Jonah Newman, Mason Newman, Kartyr Ritchey, Hunter Ritchey, Knox Ritchey, Campbell Ritchey, Witt Ritchey, Tucker Brewer, and Shepherd Brewer.
