Martha Virginia Parkhill, 100 of Big Spring passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. She was born June 8, 1922 in Henrietta, TX to parents Lum Harris and Rosa L. (White) Harris. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Big Spring and married Marvin D. Parkhill on May 1, 1940. She was a member of 14th and Main Church of Christ and worked for the Big Spring Health Food Center.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy M. Parkhill of Big Spring; her sister, Nell Rogers of Big Spring; grandchildren: Rhonda Millaway, Lisa Beltran, Susan Anderson, and Jennifer Berry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Parkhill; daughter, Vickie Berry; parents, Lum and Rosa Harris; brother, C.J. “Buddy” Harris; sisters: Dorothy Rodriquez, Ruthie Elsberry, Wanda Wolf, Sue Kilgore; and grandson, Robert Woodard.
