Martha Tanner, 97, of Midland, died on Monday, October 8, 2007, in Midland. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland.Martha was born on November 20, 1909, Waukomis, Oklahoma to Ernst and Ursula Kruppe. She married F.R. Tanner on January 6, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada.Survivors include sister, Gladys LaShaum of Tennessee; niece, Pat Bucy of Midland; niece, Linda Kristofferson of Tennessee; niece, Krista Livingston of Grand Rapids, Michigan; niece, Krena Leach of California; niece, Kreta Chandler of Bozeman, Montana She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters, Lillian Winkler and Bertha Keith.Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland.
