Martha Lenora Palmer Peacock, 53, of Big Spring, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in an Odessa hospital. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, June 23, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel with, Dr. Claude Craven, retired Baptist minister, officiating. She was born on February 19, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas. Martha graduated from Big Spring High School in 1965 and also graduated from the Academy Hair Design. She worked for several local restaurants, most recently at Golden Corral. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever. Martha was a Baptist. Survivors include her parents, Ernest and Helen Palmer of Big Spring; a sister and brother in-law, Mary and Gene Wilson of Abilene; a daughter, Cindy Kelly of Big Spring; two sons and daughters in-law, Jerry and Candace Peacock of Iowa and Donny and Keri Peacock of Duncanville; six grandchildren, Eric Kelly, Lyndsey Kelly, and Joshua Kelly all of Big Spring, Justyn Peacock of Iowa and Nicholas Peacock and Heather Peacock both of Duncanville, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
