Marshall Wayne Bowers, 56, of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2005 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park with Rev. Dennis Teeters, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.He was born on August 17, 1949, in Denver, Colorado.Mr. Bowers had worked in the oilfield industry for 35 years, the last several years with Robinson Drilling. He was a Christian and had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.Survivors include two step daughters, Sonya Metcalf and Tammy Lockhart and husband,Jack all of Big Spring; a step son, Rory Worthan and wife, Cindy of Big Spring and six grandchildren.
