My deepest sympathies to you all during this time. I really wish I could be there with you. I'll never forget what a sharp mind and wit Mark had and just how much fun he made life when you were around him! One memory I have is all the scary ghost stories he would tell us when I would spend the night with y'all, then he would sneak around outside and scratch on the window or growl or mess with us somehow so that we would stay up late into the night, wondering when the next bump in the night would come haha or the time he set up in the living room with a bunch of pillows around and we would charge him, trying to tackle him or wrestle him down which obviously didn't work but he would toss us around and we were flying all over the place. It was a blast! I mean, I have so many more stories but the point of them all, is that he was a spectacular father and human being. Truly one of a kind. He does and will continue to live on in some of my most precious memories of childhood. I love you all so much.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I haven't seen Mark in close to 40 years, if not more. But he always had a big heart and was willing to help when and where he could. I really regret not staying in touch. Rest easy, Mark.

Cindy (Brooks) Moore left a message on January 30, 2024:
My heart is broken. For several years, Mark was my "big brother". He was friends with my older cousins and siblings. I was the annoying little sister that Mark was gracious enough to have patience with. I was 13 when he allowed me to drive his car on the twisty roads between grandma's house and town. I regret losing touch, but I always thought of him as family. So sorry for your loss.
