Dahmer, Mark, 39, of Big Spring, died on Saturday, October 14, 2000, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 18, 2000, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Johnny Cockerham, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park. He was born on August 22, 1961 in Del Rio, Texas and married Tonya Harding on October 27, 1985 in Big Spring, Texas. Mr. Dahmer attended schools in Coahoma, graduating in 1980. He worked for Hester's Mechanical and Cary Services as a service technician. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and had served in the United States Air Force for four years. Survivors include his wife, Tonya Dahmer of Big Spring; one daughter, Amy Dahmer of Phoenix, Arizona; one son, Nicholas Andrew Stephen Dahmer of Big Spring; his father and step mother, Tony and Vicki Dahmer of Big Spring; one brother, Matt Dahmer of Big Spring; and his grandmothers, Elizabeth Park of New Braunfels and Dorothy Salmon of Big Spring. He was preceded in death by his mother, Earlene Dahmer and his sister, Cindy Carroll. Pallbearers will be Danny Armstrong, Daniel Kerr, Kevin Crawford, Shane Clark, T. J. Clark, Terry Kessler and Pete Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Brodie, David Risner and all members of Cossack M.C. and Harley Owners Group. The family suggests memorials to Cossack M.C. Toy Run, 1610 N. Birdwell Lane, Big Spring, Texas 79720. The family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
